Chapter 4 • Verse 8
परित्राणाय साधूनां विनाशाय च दुष्कृताम्। धर्मसंस्थापनार्थाय सम्भवामि युगे युगे॥
paritrāṇāya sādhūnāṁ vināśhāya cha duṣhkṛitām dharma-sansthāpanārthāya sambhavāmi yuge yuge
Meaning
To protect the righteous, to destroy the wicked, and to establish dharma, I appear in every age.
The Divine comes for three purposes: protect the good, destroy evil, establish dharma. In every era, this rebalancing occurs. We are never abandoned.
