Chapter 2 • Verse 61
तानि सर्वाणि संयम्य युक्त आसीत मत्परः। वशे हि यस्येन्द्रियाणि तस्य प्रज्ञा प्रतिष्ठिता॥
tāni sarvāṇi saṁyamya yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ vaśhe hi yasyendriyāṇi tasya prajñā pratiṣhṭhitā
Meaning
Having controlled all the senses, one should sit in meditation with Me as the supreme goal. One who has mastered the senses is established in wisdom.
The solution: control senses, focus on the Divine. Making God the supreme goal naturally brings sense control. It's not about suppression but redirection toward the highest.
Strength Reflection
"I redirect my senses toward higher goals rather than simply suppressing them."
Devotional Surrender
O Lord, You are my supreme goal. With my senses fixed on You, I find stability.
