Chapter 2 • Verse 46
यावानर्थ उदपाने सर्वतः सम्प्लुतोदके। तावान्सर्वेषु वेदेषु ब्राह्मणस्य विजानतः॥
yāvān artha udapāne sarvataḥ samplutodake tāvān sarveṣhu vedeṣhu brāhmaṇasya vijānataḥ
Meaning
All purposes served by a small well can be served by a large lake. Similarly, one who knows the supreme truth fulfills the purpose of all the Vedas.
When you have the whole, you have all the parts. The enlightened soul has realized what all scriptures point to. Scriptures are maps; realization is the destination.
Strength Reflection
"I seek the essence that all teachings point to, not just accumulation of information."
Devotional Surrender
Lord, lead me to the ocean of truth that makes all smaller teachings obsolete.
