अर्जुन उवाच। अयतिः श्रद्धयोपेतो योगाच्चलितमानसः। अप्राप्य योगसंसिद्धिं कां गतिं कृष्ण गच्छति॥
arjuna uvācha ayatiḥ śhraddhayopeto yogāch chalita-mānasaḥ aprāpya yoga-saṁsiddhiṁ kāṁ gatiṁ kṛiṣhṇa gachchhati
Meaning
Arjuna said: O Krishna, what is the fate of one who has faith but lacks perseverance, whose mind wanders from yoga, and who fails to attain perfection?
Arjuna asks a crucial question: what happens to sincere seekers who start the path but don't finish? This concern haunts many practitioners. What if I try and fail? Is the effort wasted? Arjuna's faith in Krishna gives him courage to ask what many of us wonder but hesitate to voice.
Strength Reflection
"I acknowledge my fear of failure on the spiritual path, trusting that sincere effort is never wasted."
Devotional Surrender
Lord, I begin with faith but fear falling short. Reassure me that my efforts matter.
