kachchin nobhaya-vibhraṣhṭaśh chhinnābhram iva naśhyati apratiṣhṭho mahā-bāho vimūḍho brahmaṇaḥ pathi
Meaning
Does such a person not perish like a scattered cloud, O mighty-armed Krishna — fallen from both paths, supportless and deluded on the path to Brahman?
Arjuna's fear is vivid: like a cloud that separates from one mass but doesn't join another, just dissipating in the sky. Having left worldly pursuits but not reaching spiritual fulfillment — is the seeker lost in between? This image captures the existential anxiety of those who feel caught between worlds.
Strength Reflection
"I face my fear of being stranded between worlds, trusting there is ground beneath me."
Devotional Surrender
O Lord, I fear dissolving like a vagrant cloud. Anchor me in Your unfailing presence.
