अर्जुन उवाच। योऽयं योगस्त्वया प्रोक्तः साम्येन मधुसूदन। एतस्याहं न पश्यामि चञ्चलत्वात्स्थितिं स्थिराम्॥
arjuna uvācha yo 'yaṁ yogas tvayā proktaḥ sāmyena madhusūdana etasyāhaṁ na paśhyāmi chañchalatvāt sthitiṁ sthirām
Meaning
Arjuna said: O Madhusudana, this yoga of equanimity which You have described — I do not see how it can be sustained, because of the restlessness of the mind.
Arjuna voices our universal concern: the teachings sound wonderful, but how can they be practiced with such a restless mind? His honesty is refreshing — he doesn't pretend to understand or accept what seems impossible. This question opens the door for Krishna to address our deepest practical concerns about meditation.
Strength Reflection
"I honestly acknowledge my challenges with practice, knowing that honest questions lead to real answers."
Devotional Surrender
Lord, I too struggle with restlessness. Help me find the steadiness that seems impossible.
