Chapter 5 • Verse 16
ज्ञानेन तु तदज्ञानं येषां नाशितमात्मनः। तेषामादित्यवज्ज्ञानं प्रकाशयति तत्परम्॥
jñānena tu tad ajñānaṁ yeṣhāṁ nāśhitam ātmanaḥ teṣhām ādityavaj jñānaṁ prakāśhayati tat param
Meaning
But for those in whom ignorance of the Self is destroyed by knowledge, that knowledge, like the sun, reveals the Supreme.
When spiritual knowledge destroys ignorance, it illuminates everything like the rising sun. This is not intellectual learning but direct realization. Once the sun rises, all darkness vanishes instantly — so too with true knowledge.
