Chapter 4 • Verse 21

निराशीर्यतचित्तात्मा त्यक्तसर्वपरिग्रहः। शारीरं केवलं कर्म कुर्वन्नाप्नोति किल्बिषम्॥

nirāśhīr yata-chittātmā tyakta-sarva-parigrahaḥ śhārīraṁ kevalaṁ karma kurvan nāpnoti kilbiṣham

Meaning

Free from desire, with mind and body controlled, having relinquished all possessions, performing only bodily action — such a person incurs no sin.

Without desire, with controlled mind, possessing nothing, doing only what the body requires - such action brings no karmic consequence.

Strength Reflection

"I simplify my desires and possessions, reducing karmic entanglement."

Devotional Surrender

Lord, free me from desire and possession. Let me act in purity.
