Chapter 3 • Verse 28

तत्त्ववित्तु महाबाहो गुणकर्मविभागयोः। गुणा गुणेषु वर्तन्त इति मत्वा न सज्जते॥

tattva-vit tu mahā-bāho guṇa-karma-vibhāgayoḥ guṇā guṇeṣhu vartanta iti matvā na sajjate

Meaning

But one who knows the truth about the divisions of the modes of nature and their actions, O mighty-armed one, understanding that it is the modes acting upon each other, does not become attached.

The wise see that it's qualities (gunas) interacting with qualities. Senses perceiving objects, that's all. Seeing this truth removes attachment and creates inner freedom.

Strength Reflection

"I observe actions as natural interactions of energies, reducing my attachment to outcomes."

Devotional Surrender

O Mighty-armed, grant me this vision that sees beyond personal involvement.
