Chapter 3 • Verse 15
कर्म ब्रह्मोद्भवं विद्धि ब्रह्माक्षरसमुद्भवम्। तस्मात्सर्वगतं ब्रह्म नित्यं यज्ञे प्रतिष्ठितम्॥
karma brahmodbhavaṁ viddhi brahmākṣhara-samudbhavam tasmāt sarva-gataṁ brahma nityaṁ yajñe pratiṣhṭhitam
Meaning
Know that prescribed duties arise from the Vedas, and the Vedas come from the Imperishable. Therefore, the all-pervading Brahman is eternally established in sacrifice.
All duty originates from the Divine. The cosmic order is sustained by sacrifice. When we fulfill our duties, we participate in this divine order.
