Chapter 2 • Verse 10

तमुवाच हृषीकेशः प्रहसन्निव भारत। सेनयोरुभयोर्मध्ये विषीदन्तमिदं वचः॥

tam uvācha hṛiṣhīkeśhaḥ prahasann iva bhārata senayor ubhayor madhye viṣhīdantam idaṁ vachaḥ

Meaning

O Dhritarashtra, to the grieving Arjuna, between the two armies, Krishna, smiling as it were, spoke these words.

Krishna smiles at Arjuna's despair - not mockingly, but with the compassion of one who sees beyond the confusion. The smile of the divine is reassurance that all will be well, that confusion is temporary.

Strength Reflection

"I trust that behind my confusion, there is a larger wisdom guiding me toward clarity."

Devotional Surrender

Lord, smile upon my confusion. Let Your joy remind me that this too shall pass.
