अस्माकं तु विशिष्टा ये तान्निबोध द्विजोत्तम। नायका मम सैन्यस्य संज्ञार्थं तान्ब्रवीमि ते॥
asmākaṁ tu viśhiṣhṭā ye tān nibodha dwija-uttama nāyakā mama sainyasya sanjñārthaṁ tān bravīmi te
Meaning
But know also, O best of the twice-born, the distinguished commanders of my army. I shall name them for your information.
After listing the enemy's strengths, Duryodhana turns to reassure himself by listing his own warriors. Balancing awareness of challenges with recognition of our own resources is key to facing any battle.
