सीदन्ति मम गात्राणि मुखं च परिशुष्यति। वेपथुश्च शरीरे मे रोमहर्षश्च जायते॥

sīdanti mama gātrāṇi mukhaṁ cha pariśhuṣhyati vepathuśh cha śharīre me roma-harṣhaśh cha jāyate

Meaning

My limbs are failing, my mouth is drying up, my body trembles, and my hair stands on end.

Arjuna experiences physical symptoms of anxiety — trembling, dry mouth, weakness. Our bodies reflect our mental state. Recognizing these signals helps us address the underlying emotional turmoil.

Strength Reflection

"I pay attention to my body's signals of stress and address the underlying emotional causes."

Devotional Surrender

O Krishna, when anxiety overwhelms my body, let remembrance of You be my anchor of calm.
