Chapter 4 • Verse 28
द्रव्ययज्ञास्तपोयज्ञा योगयज्ञास्तथापरे। स्वाध्यायज्ञानयज्ञाश्च यतयः संशितव्रताः॥
dravya-yajñās tapo-yajñā yoga-yajñās tathāpare svādhyāya-jñāna-yajñāś cha yatayaḥ sanśhita-vratāḥ
Meaning
Some offer material possessions; others offer austerities, yoga practice, study, or knowledge as sacrifices — all with strict vows.
Various forms of sacrifice: wealth, austerity, yoga, self-study, knowledge. All valid paths when done with sincere commitment and discipline.
