Chapter 3 • Verse 18
नैव तस्य कृतेनार्थो नाकृतेनेह कश्चन। न चास्य सर्वभूतेषु कश्चिदर्थव्यपाश्रयः॥
naiva tasya kṛitenārtho nākṛiteneha kaśhchana na chāsya sarva-bhūteṣhu kaśhchid artha-vyapāśhrayaḥ
Meaning
Such a self-realized person has nothing to gain from action or inaction, nor does such a person depend on any being for any purpose.
The enlightened person gains nothing from action and loses nothing from inaction. Complete independence from all needs and beings. This is the ultimate freedom.
