Meaning

The doer who is free from attachment, not egotistic, endowed with determination and enthusiasm, unaffected by success or failure — is called sattvic.

The sattvic doer is: attachment-free, non-egotistic, determined, enthusiastic, and unchanged by success or failure. This is the ideal — engaged but detached, active but equanimous.

Strength Reflection

"I strive to be free from attachment and ego, determined yet unaffected by results."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord, make me a sattvic doer — engaged, free, and equanimous.
