Chapter 17 • Verse 3
सत्त्वानुरूपा सर्वस्य श्रद्धा भवति भारत। श्रद्धामयोऽयं पुरुषो यो यच्छ्रद्धः स एव सः॥
sattvānurūpā sarvasya śhraddhā bhavati bhārata śhraddhā-mayo 'yaṁ puruṣho yo yach-chhraddhaḥ sa eva saḥ
Meaning
The faith of each person accords with his nature, O Bharata. A person is made of faith — as is one's faith, so is one.
We become what we believe. Faith shapes our entire being. 'Shraddha-mayo' — a person is made of faith. As your faith is, so you are. This is profound: change your faith, change yourself.
