Chapter 13 • Verse 30
प्रकृत्यैव च कर्माणि क्रियमाणानि सर्वशः। यः पश्यति तथात्मानमकर्तारं स पश्यति॥
prakṛityaiva cha karmāṇi kriyamāṇāni sarvaśhaḥ yaḥ paśhyati tathātmānam akartāraṁ sa paśhyati
Meaning
One who sees that all actions are performed by Prakriti alone and that the Self is not the doer — that one truly sees.
True vision includes seeing that all actions are done by nature (Prakriti) through the body-mind, while the soul is the non-acting witness. The Self is akarta — non-doer. This understanding frees from ego and its karmic bondage.
