Chapter 13 • Verse 15
सर्वेन्द्रियगुणाभासं सर्वेन्द्रियविवर्जितम्। असक्तं सर्वभृच्चैव निर्गुणं गुणभोक्तृ च॥
sarvendriya-guṇābhāsaṁ sarvendriya-vivarjitam asaktaṁ sarva-bhṛich chaiva nirguṇaṁ guṇa-bhoktṛi cha
Meaning
Reflecting the functions of all senses yet without senses, unattached yet supporting all, free from the gunas yet experiencing them.
Brahman illumines all sense activities without possessing senses, supports everything without attachment, is beyond the three gunas yet experiences them through beings. This describes God's transcendent immanence — present yet beyond.
Strength Reflection
"God supports all without attachment, transcends all qualities yet experiences them."
Devotional Surrender
O Lord, though beyond all, You are the support and experiencer within all.
