Chapter 11 • Verse 46

किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्तमिच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव। तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते॥

kirīṭinaṁ gadinaṁ chakra-hastam ichchhāmi tvāṁ draṣhṭum ahaṁ tathaiva tenaiva rūpeṇa chatur-bhujena sahasra-bāho bhava viśhva-mūrte

Meaning

I desire to see You as before, with crown, mace, and discus in hand. Assume that four-armed form, O thousand-armed one, O universal form.

Arjuna asks for the familiar Vishnu form — four-armed, with crown, mace, and chakra. Though the cosmic form has infinite arms, the four-armed form is what devotees can worship. The universal form must become personal to be loved.

Strength Reflection

"I need the Divine in accessible form to love and worship."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord, show me Your approachable form that I can adore.
