Chapter 11 • Verse 4
मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो। योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम्॥
manyase yadi tach chhakyaṁ mayā draṣhṭum iti prabho yogeśhvara tato me tvaṁ darśhayātmānam avyayam
Meaning
If You think I am able to behold it, O Lord, O master of yoga, then reveal to me Your imperishable Self.
Arjuna adds humble qualification: 'if You think I'm capable.' Divine vision isn't guaranteed to all — the seer must be ready. Arjuna leaves the decision to Krishna, the master of yoga, acknowledging that the guru knows the disciple's capacity better than the disciple does.
Strength Reflection
"I humbly ask for revelation, trusting that God knows my capacity."
Devotional Surrender
Lord, if You think I'm ready, reveal Yourself. You know my capacity.
