Chapter 11 • Verse 5

श्रीभगवानुवाच। पश्य मे पार्थ रूपाणि शतशोऽथ सहस्रशः। नानाविधानि दिव्यानि नानावर्णाकृतीनि च॥

śhrī bhagavān uvācha paśhya me pārtha rūpāṇi śhataśho 'tha sahasraśhaḥ nānā-vidhāni divyāni nānā-varṇākṛitīni cha

Meaning

The Supreme Lord said: Behold, O Arjuna, My divine forms by the hundreds and thousands, various, divine, of many colors and shapes.

Krishna grants the vision. Not one form but hundreds, thousands — endless varieties, divine, multicolored, multi-shaped. The singular becomes plural, the limited becomes infinite. What Arjuna will see exceeds anything describable.

Strength Reflection

"The Divine appears in infinite forms, colors, and shapes — far beyond one image."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord, I open to see Your hundreds and thousands of divine forms.
