Chapter 11 • Verse 3

एवमेतद्यथात्थ त्वमात्मानं परमेश्वर। द्रष्टुमिच्छामि ते रूपमैश्वरं पुरुषोत्तम॥

evam etad yathāttha tvam ātmānaṁ parameśhvara draṣhṭum ichchhāmi te rūpam aiśhvaraṁ puruṣhottama

Meaning

O Supreme Lord, You are as You have described Yourself. I wish to see Your divine cosmic form, O Supreme Person.

Arjuna requests the vision of Krishna's cosmic form. He accepts Krishna's self-description and now wants direct experience. This is the natural progression: faith leads to hearing, hearing creates desire for seeing, and asking opens the door to revelation.

Strength Reflection

"I ask for direct experience of divine truth, not content with description alone."

Devotional Surrender

O Supreme Person, I believe what You say. Now show me Your cosmic form.
