Chapter 11 • Verse 25

Meaning

Seeing Your mouths with terrible teeth, blazing like the fires of cosmic dissolution, I lose all sense of direction and find no shelter. Be gracious, O Lord of gods, refuge of the universe!

The teeth are terrible; the mouths blaze like doomsday fires. Arjuna loses all orientation and finds no safety anywhere. He begs for grace. This is the honest prayer when overwhelmed by divine magnitude: 'Be gracious!'

Strength Reflection

"When overwhelmed, I ask for divine grace — this is wisdom, not weakness."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord of the universe, I am disoriented and have no shelter. Be gracious to me!
