Chapter 1 • Verse 20

अथ व्यवस्थितान्दृष्ट्वा धार्तराष्ट्रान्कपिध्वजः। प्रवृत्ते शस्त्रसम्पाते धनुरुद्यम्य पाण्डवः॥

atha vyavasthitān dṛiṣhṭvā dhārtarāṣhṭrān kapi-dhvajaḥ pravṛitte śhastra-sampāte dhanur udyamya pāṇḍavaḥ

Meaning

Then, seeing Dhritarashtra's sons arrayed and the weapons about to be engaged, Arjuna, whose flag bore the emblem of Hanuman, raised his bow.

Arjuna's flag bears Hanuman — symbol of devotion, courage, and service. We each carry symbols of what we value most. What banner do you raise in your battles of life?

Strength Reflection

"I consciously choose what values and symbols I identify with, letting them guide my actions."

Devotional Surrender

O Krishna, let my life be a banner of devotion to You, as Hanuman's image graced Arjuna's flag.
