Chapter 9 • Verse 31
क्षिप्रं भवति धर्मात्मा शश्वच्छान्तिं निगच्छति। कौन्तेय प्रतिजानीहि न मे भक्तः प्रणश्यति॥
kṣhipraṁ bhavati dharmātmā śhaśhvach-chhāntiṁ nigachchhati kaunteya pratijānīhi na me bhaktaḥ praṇaśhyati
Meaning
Quickly he becomes righteous and attains lasting peace. O Arjuna, declare it boldly: My devotee never perishes!
The reformed sinner quickly becomes righteous. Devotion accelerates transformation. And Krishna makes a solemn promise — declare it publicly, He says to Arjuna: My devotee never perishes. No matter what, the devotee is protected. This is divine guarantee.

"Protected by divine love, I am safe. The devotee of God never perishes."

O Lord, I claim Your promise. As Your devotee, I shall never perish.
