Chapter 9 • Verse 30
अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक्। साधुरेव स मन्तव्यः सम्यग्व्यवसितो हि सः॥
api chet su-durāchāro bhajate mām ananya-bhāk sādhur eva sa mantavyaḥ samyag vyavasito hi saḥ
Meaning
Even if the most sinful person worships Me with exclusive devotion, he should be considered a saint, for he has rightly resolved.
One of the Gita's most compassionate verses. Past sins don't disqualify one from divine love. The moment someone turns to God with full heart, they become a sadhu (saint). It's the resolution that matters, not the history. No one is too fallen to be embraced by devotion.
Strength Reflection
"My past doesn't define me. My present devotion transforms everything."
Devotional Surrender
O merciful Lord, whatever my past, I turn to You now with my whole heart.
