Meaning
Worshippers of the gods go to the gods, worshippers of ancestors go to the ancestors, worshippers of spirits go to spirits, and My worshippers come to Me.
You become what you worship. Worship of devas leads to deva realms, worship of ancestors to ancestral realms, worship of spirits to spirit realms. Only worship of Krishna leads to Krishna. This isn't punishment — it's natural law. Your destination matches your devotion.
