अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च। न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते॥
ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā cha prabhur eva cha na tu mām abhijānanti tattvenātaśh chyavanti te
Meaning
I am the enjoyer and master of all sacrifices. But those who do not recognize Me in truth fall down from their attainment.
Krishna is the true recipient of all worship and the Lord of all spiritual practice. Not recognizing this truth causes people to fall from their spiritual heights. Even sincere practitioners lose their gains if they miss the ultimate truth. Recognition of the Supreme completes all spiritual effort.
