Chapter 18 • Verse 58
मच्चित्तः सर्वदुर्गाणि मत्प्रसादात्तरिष्यसि। अथ चेत्त्वमहंकारान्न श्रोष्यसि विनङ्क्ष्यसि॥
mach-chittaḥ sarva-durgāṇi mat-prasādāt tariṣhyasi atha chet tvam ahaṅkārān na śhroṣhyasi vinaṅkṣhyasi
Meaning
With your mind on Me, by My grace you will cross over all difficulties. But if, out of ego, you do not listen, you shall perish.
With mind on Krishna, by His grace, all obstacles are overcome. But if ego prevents listening to divine guidance, destruction follows. This is both promise and warning.
