Chapter 18 • Verse 55
भक्त्या मामभिजानाति यावान्यश्चास्मि तत्त्वतः। ततो मां तत्त्वतो ज्ञात्वा विशते तदनन्तरम्॥
bhaktyā mām abhijānāti yāvān yaśh chāsmi tattvataḥ tato māṁ tattvato jñātvā viśhate tad-anantaram
Meaning
Through devotion one knows Me — who I am and what I am in truth. Then, knowing Me in truth, one immediately enters into Me.
Through devotion comes true knowledge of Krishna — His complete nature and reality. Knowing Him truly, one immediately enters into Him. Devotion is both the path and the goal.
