Chapter 16 • Verse 20
आसुरीं योनिमापन्ना मूढा जन्मनि जन्मनि। मामप्राप्यैव कौन्तेय ततो यान्त्यधमां गतिम्॥
āsurīṁ yonim āpannā mūḍhā janmani janmani mām aprāpyaiva kaunteya tato yānty adhamāṁ gatim
Meaning
Entering demoniac wombs, deluded birth after birth, never reaching Me, O son of Kunti, they sink to the lowest condition.
Born repeatedly in demoniac conditions, these deluded beings never reach God. They spiral downward to ever lower states. Without divine connection, there's no way up — only further descent.
