Chapter 12 • Verse 14
सन्तुष्टः सततं योगी यतात्मा दृढनिश्चयः। मय्यर्पितमनोबुद्धिर्यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः॥
santuṣhṭaḥ satataṁ yogī yatātmā dṛiḍha-niśhchayaḥ mayy arpita-mano-buddhir yo mad-bhaktaḥ sa me priyaḥ
Meaning
...always content, self-controlled, of firm determination, with mind and intellect dedicated to Me — such a devotee is dear to Me.
More qualities: constant contentment, self-controlled, firmly determined, mind and intellect offered to God. Such a devotee is dear to Krishna. This phrase 'dear to Me' (priyah) is the refrain of this chapter — divine affection for the genuine devotee.
