Chapter 11 • Verse 42

यच्चावहासार्थमसत्कृतोऽसि विहारशय्यासनभोजनेषु। एकोऽथवाप्यच्युत तत्समक्षं तत्क्षामये त्वामहमप्रमेयम्॥

yach chāvahāsārtham asat-kṛito 'si vihāra-śhayyāsana-bhojaneṣhu eko 'tha vāpy achyuta tat-samakṣhaṁ tat kṣhāmaye tvām aham aprameyam

Meaning

And for whatever disrespect was shown to You in jest — while playing, resting, sitting, or dining, whether alone or in front of others — I ask Your forgiveness, O immeasurable one.

More apology: any disrespect in jest, while playing, resting, eating, in private or public — forgive all of it. Arjuna feels the weight of every casual moment. Before the immeasurable, we recalibrate all our behavior.

Strength Reflection

"Encountering greatness, I reconsider all past informality."

Devotional Surrender

O immeasurable Lord, forgive all my disrespect — in jest or seriousness.
