Chapter 11 • Verse 36

arjuna uvācha sthāne hṛiṣhīkeśha tava prakīrtyā jagat prahṛiṣhyaty anurajyate cha rakṣhānsi bhītāni diśho dravanti sarve namasyanti cha siddha-saṅghāḥ

Meaning

Arjuna said: Rightly, O Hrishikesha, the world rejoices and is delighted in glorifying You. Demons flee in fear to all directions, while hosts of perfected ones bow to You.

Arjuna's hymn of praise begins: it is fitting that the world rejoices in Your glory. Demons flee in terror; perfected ones bow in devotion. The response to divine manifestation divides naturally: those aligned flee toward, those misaligned flee away.

Strength Reflection

"Encountering divine reality, alignment determines response — attraction or aversion."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord, the world rightly rejoices in You. I join the siddhas who bow.
