Chapter 11 • Verse 1
अर्जुन उवाच। मदनुग्रहाय परमं गुह्यमध्यात्मसंज्ञितम्। यत्त्वयोक्तं वचस्तेन मोहोऽयं विगतो मम॥
arjuna uvācha madanugrahāya paramaṁ guhyam adhyātma-sanjñitam yat tvayoktaṁ vachas tena moho 'yaṁ vigato mama
Meaning
Arjuna said: Out of compassion for me, You have revealed the supreme secret concerning the self. By Your words, my delusion is now dispelled.
Arjuna acknowledges Krishna's teaching — given out of pure compassion, it has removed his confusion. This grateful recognition shows the disciple's receptivity. Delusion lifts when sacred teachings enter an open heart.
