Chapter 10 • Verse 36
द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम्। जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम्॥
dyūtaṁ chhalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham jayo 'smi vyavasāyo 'smi sattvaṁ sattvavatām aham
Meaning
Of deceptions, I am gambling; of the splendid, I am splendor; I am victory, determination, and the goodness of the good.
Even gambling — Krishna is the throw of dice that decides! He is the radiance of the radiant, victory itself, determination, and the purity of the pure. Success, willpower, and goodness all have divine foundation.
