Chapter 10 • Verse 33
अक्षराणामकारोऽस्मि द्वन्द्वः सामासिकस्य च। अहमेवाक्षयः कालो धाताहं विश्वतोमुखः॥
akṣharāṇām akāro 'smi dvandvaḥ sāmāsikasya cha aham evākṣhayaḥ kālo dhātāhaṁ viśhvato-mukhaḥ
Meaning
Of letters, I am 'A'; of compounds, I am the dual; I am inexhaustible time; I am the creator facing everywhere.
Among letters, 'A' — the first sound, present in all others. Among compounds, the balanced dual. He is time without end and the creator seeing in all directions. The fundamental, the balanced, the eternal, the omniscient — all divine.
