Chapter 10 • Verse 27
उच्चैःश्रवसमश्वानां विद्धि माममृतोद्भवम्। ऐरावतं गजेन्द्राणां नराणां च नराधिपम्॥
uchchaiḥśhravasam aśhvānāṁ viddhi mām amṛitodbhavam airāvataṁ gajendrāṇāṁ narāṇāṁ cha narādhipam
Meaning
Know Me among horses as Ucchaihshravas, born of nectar; among elephants, Airavata; and among humans, the king.
Among horses, the divine steed from the churning of the ocean; among elephants, Indra's mount; among humans, the king. Each type has its supreme representative — speed, strength, leadership — all divine.
