Chapter 10 • Verse 25

महर्षीणां भृगुरहं गिरामस्म्येकमक्षरम्। यज्ञानां जपयज्ञोऽस्मि स्थावराणां हिमालयः॥

maharṣhīṇāṁ bhṛigur ahaṁ girām asmy ekam akṣharam yajñānāṁ japa-yajño 'smi sthāvarāṇāṁ himālayaḥ

Meaning

Of the great sages, I am Bhrigu; of words, I am Om; of sacrifices, I am the sacrifice of chanting; of immovable things, I am the Himalayas.

Among sages, Bhrigu the fiery; among words, the single syllable Om; among sacrifices, japa (silent repetition); among mountains, the Himalayas. The simplest, most universal, and most majestic — all represent the Divine.

Strength Reflection

"Om, the simplest utterance, and the Himalayas, the most majestic — both are Divine."

Devotional Surrender

Lord, You are Om on my lips and the Himalayas before my eyes.
