Chapter 10 • Verse 22
वेदानां सामवेदोऽस्मि देवानामस्मि वासवः। इन्द्रियाणां मनश्चास्मि भूतानामस्मि चेतना॥
vedānāṁ sāma-vedo 'smi devānām asmi vāsavaḥ indriyāṇāṁ manaśh chāsmi bhūtānām asmi chetanā
Meaning
Of the Vedas, I am the Sama Veda; of the gods, I am Indra; of the senses, I am the mind; and in living beings, I am consciousness.
Among Vedas, the musical Sama Veda; among gods, Indra the king; among senses, the mind that coordinates all; among beings, consciousness itself. Krishna is the organizing principle, the royal essence, the awareness behind all sensing.

O Lord, You are the consciousness making me aware. I find You in my own awareness.
