Chapter 9 • Verse 5

Meaning

And yet beings do not rest in Me. Behold My divine mystery! I sustain all beings, yet I am not in them — My Self is the source of all beings.

A paradox reveals divine mystery: God contains all, yet isn't contained. God sustains all, yet isn't in all in the limited sense. This is yoga aishwara — divine mystery. The mind cannot fully grasp this, but the heart can sense it. God is both everything and beyond everything.

Strength Reflection

"I embrace divine paradox, knowing truth transcends logical categories."

Devotional Surrender

O Lord of mysteries, I bow to what I cannot fully understand but can wholeheartedly love.
