वेदेषु यज्ञेषु तपःसु चैव दानेषु यत्पुण्यफलं प्रदिष्टम्। अत्येति तत्सर्वमिदं विदित्वा योगी परं स्थानमुपैति चाद्यम्॥
vedeṣhu yajñeṣhu tapaḥsu chaiva dāneṣhu yat puṇya-phalaṁ pradiṣhṭam atyeti tat sarvam idaṁ viditvā yogī paraṁ sthānam upaiti chādyam
Meaning
Having known all this, the yogi surpasses whatever merit is promised in the Vedas, sacrifices, austerities, and charity — and attains the supreme, original abode.
This chapter's knowledge transcends all other religious merit. More than study, ritual, discipline, or generosity — knowing these truths and practicing accordingly leads to the supreme destination. The yogi who understands this doesn't reject these practices but goes beyond their limited fruits to the unlimited.
Strength Reflection
"I honor all spiritual practices while knowing that direct connection transcends them all."
Devotional Surrender
O Lord, beyond all merit and practice, let me reach Your supreme, original abode.
