Chapter 7 • Verse 8

रसोऽहमप्सु कौन्तेय प्रभास्मि शशिसूर्ययोः। प्रणवः सर्ववेदेषु शब्दः खे पौरुषं नृषु॥

raso 'ham apsu kaunteya prabhāsmi śhaśhi-sūryayoḥ praṇavaḥ sarva-vedeṣhu śhabdaḥ khe pauruṣhaṁ nṛiṣhu

Meaning

I am the taste in water, O Arjuna, the radiance of the sun and moon, the sacred syllable Om in all the Vedas, sound in ether, and ability in humans.

Krishna shows how to see the Divine everywhere through essences. Water's refreshing taste, light's radiance, the primal sound Om, the capacity in space for sound to travel, human abilities — these are Divine signatures. This practice transforms ordinary experience into continuous remembrance of God.

Strength Reflection

"I practice recognizing the Divine in everyday experiences — taste, light, sound, ability."

Devotional Surrender

Lord, every sip of water, every ray of light reminds me of You. You are everywhere I look.
