Chapter 16 • Verse 5
दैवी संपद्विमोक्षाय निबन्धायासुरी मता। मा शुचः संपदं दैवीमभिजातोऽसि पाण्डव॥
daivī sampad vimokṣhāya nibandhāyāsurī matā mā śhuchaḥ sampadaṁ daivīm abhijāto 'si pāṇḍava
Meaning
Divine nature leads to liberation; demoniac nature leads to bondage. Do not grieve, O Pandava — you are born with divine qualities.
The results are clear: divine qualities lead to liberation, demoniac qualities to bondage. Krishna reassures Arjuna that he has divine nature — no need to worry. We can examine ourselves and cultivate divine qualities.
