Chapter 15 • Verse 12
यदादित्यगतं तेजो जगद्भासयतेऽखिलम्। यच्चन्द्रमसि यच्चाग्नौ तत्तेजो विद्धि मामकम्॥
yad āditya-gataṁ tejo jagad bhāsayate 'khilam yach chandramasi yach chāgnau tat tejo viddhi māmakam
Meaning
Know that the splendor in the sun that illumines the whole world, and that which is in the moon and in fire — that splendor is Mine.
The light of the sun illuminating the world, the glow of the moon, the brilliance of fire — all this radiance is Krishna's. The universe's luminosity is God's splendor manifested. Every light reflects Divine light.
