Chapter 14 • Verse 3
मम योनिर्महद्ब्रह्म तस्मिन्गर्भं दधाम्यहम्। संभवः सर्वभूतानां ततो भवति भारत॥
mama yonir mahad brahma tasmin garbhaṁ dadhāmy aham sambhavaḥ sarva-bhūtānāṁ tato bhavati bhārata
Meaning
The great Brahman (Prakriti) is My womb. In that I place the seed. From that arises the birth of all beings, O Bharata.
Prakriti (material nature) is the womb, the mother. God places the seed of consciousness. From their union, all beings are born. Matter provides the body; God provides the life-force. Both are needed for creation.

"I am born from the union of matter and divine consciousness."

O Lord, You are the Father placing consciousness in the womb of nature.
