Chapter 14 • Verse 19
नान्यं गुणेभ्यः कर्तारं यदा द्रष्टानुपश्यति। गुणेभ्यश्च परं वेत्ति मद्भावं सोऽधिगच्छति॥
nānyaṁ guṇebhyaḥ kartāraṁ yadā draṣhṭānupaśhyati guṇebhyaśh cha paraṁ vetti mad-bhāvaṁ so 'dhigachchhati
Meaning
When the seer perceives no doer other than the gunas and knows what is beyond the gunas — he attains My nature.
Liberation comes when you see that only the gunas act — there is no separate doer. And you know yourself as beyond all gunas — the witnessing consciousness. This insight leads to Krishna's own nature, divine freedom.
Strength Reflection
"I see the gunas as the only doer and know myself as the witness beyond them."
Devotional Surrender
O Lord, help me see that gunas alone act while I am the witness attaining Your nature.
