Chapter 12 • Verse 11
अथैतदप्यशक्तोऽसि कर्तुं मद्योगमाश्रितः। सर्वकर्मफलत्यागं ततः कुरु यतात्मवान्॥
athaitad apy aśhakto 'si kartuṁ mad-yogam āśhritaḥ sarva-karma-phala-tyāgaṁ tataḥ kuru yatātmavān
Meaning
If you are unable to do even this, then taking refuge in My yoga, renounce the fruits of all actions with self-control.
The final fallback: if even working for God seems impossible, simply renounce the fruits of your actions while taking refuge in divine yoga. Don't cling to results. This inner renunciation purifies even ordinary actions.
