Chapter 10 • Verse 8
अहं सर्वस्य प्रभवो मत्तः सर्वं प्रवर्तते। इति मत्वा भजन्ते मां बुधा भावसमन्विताः॥
ahaṁ sarvasya prabhavo mattaḥ sarvaṁ pravartate iti matvā bhajante māṁ budhā bhāva-samanvitāḥ
Meaning
I am the origin of all; from Me everything proceeds. Understanding this, the wise worship Me with great devotion.
The essence of wisdom: God is the source of all; everything flows from God. Those who truly understand this worship with heartfelt devotion. It's not mere intellectual agreement but deep emotional recognition that transforms the knower into a devoted worshipper.
